DecembeRadio at Powerhouse 2010

Powerhouse is a youth retreat held in Dickson, Tn. They put this on every year right before Thanksgiving at Camp Hickory Hills. This year was so much fun! Friday night started out with an awesome service followed by a concert by DecembeRadio. Here are a few pictures....

Kendra's Baby Shower

After weeks of planning, Kendra's shower went great! We had lots of help from friends and family and it turned out just like I had planned. We had lots of guests and Kendra and Whitlee got lots of presents!

Our pink and brown theme turned out so pretty, so did our custom banner for Whitlee :)

This table had the party favors and gifts for the games. Also, in the frames, we had pictures of Whitlee's 3-D ultrasound pictures and  Kendra & Andy as babies so everyone could see who Whitlee looks like.

 Then we played the dirty diaper game! Everyone thought it was fun but very gross, lol. Don't worry it's just different kinds of melted candy bars!

Roll Tide! Tennessee/Alabama Game

Saturday, October 23, we went to the Tennessee/Alabama game in Knoxville! We had a blast. We were a little worried about going into Vol territory wearing red but we had other Tide fans around us. Live games are so much fun! Next year, we're planning on traveling to Tuscaloosa for the game. How fun will that be?!

I am loving this Fall weather!

For 2 weeks now, I have been noticing all the leaves changing colors and they're beautiful! The trees in our own yard are so amazing right now. I had some time today so I decided to get out and take a few pictures.

God creates such great beauty! How can anyone deny him as Lord? His works are glorious and worthy to be praised!

Wow, Time Flies....

I haven't posted since July because we've been sooo busy. Here's what's been going on....

July 15th: Someone rear ended me in my car! Thank goodness, I wasn't hurt and neither was the lady who hit me.

August 1-6: Vacation to Colorado! It was amazing! While we were there, we celebrated our 3 year Wedding Anniversary:) Can't believe it's been that long. I love my husband.

August 30: Started school at Tennessee Tech! I want to get my bachelor's in Exercise Science so I can one day go on and get my Master's in Occupational Therapy. :)

That's all the major stuff with lots of little stuff along the way! Cakes, homework, and of course, work! Oh and we've been trying to prepare for the arrival of our little NIECE! That's right, we're gonna be an aunt and uncle to little Whitlee Anne Wilson! We are so excited and can't wait til she gets here.

We can't wait to spoil her when she gets here in December. I want to be the best aunt that I can be. Hopefully her favorite one:)

Happy 4th of July!

This time of year is so fun....cookouts, family fun, watermelon, playing in the pool, and so on! We definitely had a fun time this weekend. Austin played in a ball tournament all day Saturday but we managed to sqeeze in a family reunion too. What a beautiful weekend we had, God is sooo good:) We celebrated the 4th by watching fireworks at Gramps and GG's.

It's not summer without some watermelon!

And of course, we're anticipating the arrival of Baby Wilson! By next 4th of July I will be an Aunt:)

My First Wedding Cake

June 5, 2010 marked a special occasion for not just Morgan and Chris Pelfrey but for me too because I baked my first wedding cake! They are a very special couple to me and I was happy to do their cake. I was pleased on how the cake turned out:)
